01 Context

Experis is a consulting company focused on time-and-material contracts. Internally, consultants without an active client project form a development team that works on the company's own internal products.

02 Role

I worked mainly as a product designer — and, on parts of the work, as product owner — on these internal products, bridging stakeholders, design and the development team.

03 Projects

I worked on several products in the company's internal portfolio, on projects that vary in both size and impact.

Frankie

An internal tool to track managers' performance based on the consultant time they sell to clients.

  • As a product designer, I aligned stakeholders' needs and produced actionable insights.
  • Designed the dashboard giving C-level users an at-a-glance view of their people's performance.

CV Scanner

An internal tool to support recruitment processes and the orchestration between sales, accounts, recruiters and talents.

  • Produced interview reports, wireframes and a blueprint of the process.
  • Aligned the development team and produced an actionable roadmap.
  • Monitored development progress.

04 Key learnings

  • Act fast to learn faster.
  • In complex, vertical contexts, if a user asks for A they don't mean B — they mean A. B might exist too, but A probably makes sense.
  • Before committing to important tables and screens, it helps to have a POC to show, so stakeholders can perceive the value you're proposing.
  • Don't rely on external tools unless you're 150% sure about their stability and future viability.
